Affiliate Disclosure

Short version: Some links on Pink Addict are affiliate links. If you click and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We’re independent, so we decide what we post, but advertising and affiliates income helps us run the site.

Amazon notice: As an Amazon Associate, Pink Addict earns from qualifying purchases.

Why this page exists

We believe in transparency. Pink Addict is free to read; affiliate commissions, occasional sponsorships, and ads help us keep the lights pink. This page explains how that works, how we label things, and how we protect your trust.

What’s an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a special URL that lets a retailer know a visitor came from Pink Addict. If you make a purchase, we may receive a small commission. You pay the same price (and sometimes less if we’ve negotiated a code).

How we choose products (editorial independence)

  • We pick items because they’re great (and delightfully pink), not because a brand pays us.
  • Editorial and commercial decisions are separated. A commission opportunity never guarantees coverage.
  • If a post is sponsored (paid placement), we’ll state that clearly at the top of the page.
  • If a product was gifted/loaned for consideration, we’ll mark it as “gifted” and still give honest opinions.

How we label links and posts

We aim for clear, conspicuous disclosures in line with the FTC Endorsement Guides (US) and ASA/CAP guidance (UK). You’ll see labels such as:

  • “Affiliate link” next to a link or button
  • “This post contains affiliate links” near the top of the page
  • “Ad” or “Sponsored” for paid placements
  • “Gifted” where items were provided with no obligation to feature

Examples you might see on the site:

  • “Buy at Retailer → (affiliate link)”
  • “Contains affiliate links—commission supports Pink Addict, at no extra cost to you.”
  • “Sponsored by [Brand]” (for paid features)

Programs and partners we use

We participate in multiple affiliate networks and direct retailer programs, including but not limited to Amazon Associates, Awin, Impact, CJ, Rakuten Advertising, FlexOffers, and individual brand programs across the UK, US, EU, AU and elsewhere. Availability varies by region.

Amazon Associates disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, Pink Addict earns from qualifying purchases.

Pricing, availability & accuracy

Prices and stock change quickly. We do our best to keep posts fresh (and replace anything stale), but retailer pricing and availability can change after publication. If you spot an issue, please tell us and we’ll update promptly.

Cookies, tracking & your choices

Affiliate links often require a cookie or similar tracking so the retailer knows who referred you. For details—and to change consent settings—please see our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. You can adjust preferences anytime via the cookie settings link in our site footer.

Sponsored content & ads

From time to time, we may publish sponsored posts or run paid ads. Sponsored content is clearly labeled and must meet our editorial standards. Sponsors never get to approve our independent reviews or veto honest opinions.

Conflicts of interest

Team members are required to disclose any personal or financial relationships that could influence coverage. If a potential conflict exists, we’ll either disclose it clearly or recuse the contributor.
